Lot appoints Michal Fijol as new CEO

Polish airline Lot has appointed former Chief Commercial Officer Michal Fijol as its new CEO. The Supervisory Board made the corresponding appointment at the most recent meeting. 

Just before Christmas 2022, it was announced that Lot and the previous CEO, Rafal Milczarski, would go their separate ways. According to reports, the manager was not particularly popular with the workforce, but he was able to achieve great entrepreneurial success over many years. 

The appointment of a successor progressed slowly. Only now has Fijol, who has been a member of the board for seven years, been officially recognized as CEO. Previously, the manager worked as CCO for the Polish aviation company.
