At Lufthansa, corporate customers can now also alleviate the climate impact of their employee flights across the board.

Individual travelers have been using the offer for a long time - now it's corporate customers' turn. The use of sustainable fuels from biomass can be booked via the “Compensaid” platform, as can compensation measures, for example in reforestation projects. The first corporate customer is Axa insurance, as Lufthansa announced yesterday.

The company has therefore booked a combination in which 15 percent of CO2 emissions are offset by alternative fuels and 85 percent more cost-effectively through climate protection projects. The compensation option was previously only available to individual customers, but was only used by a small group.
