As a result, the A350 fleet in the group will grow to 2022 aircraft at the beginning of 21. The new additions will be used at Lufthansa itself.
“The Airbus A350 is one of the most modern aircraft of our time. Extremely economical, very quiet and much more economical than the previous models. In addition to sustainability, our customers also value the premium flight experience with this aircraft. Thanks to the lease agreements, we remain flexible in our fleet planning and make optimal use of the exceptional market opportunities. With the further modernization of the fleet, we are reaffirming our claim to be among the five top airlines in the world in the future too, ”explains Board member Detlef Kayser.
