Over 300 young people have started their apprenticeships in various professions at Lufthansa Technik. The maintenance crane reported that significantly more apprentices were taken on in Germany this year due to increasing demand.

There should also still be open training positions in the following areas: Mechanics, electronics technicians for devices and systems as well as engineers, junior staff for the logistics department. "Exciting tasks, good managers and colleagues, career prospects and job security - that's what employees expect today," explains Andrea Jacobsen, Head of Entry Programs at Lufthansa Technik. “In addition, they expect comprehensive support during the training period. They value these characteristics more highly than a high educational salary or benefits such as discounted flights or an international environment.”
