Malaysia Airlines decided last year that the six Airbus A380 aircraft would no longer return to scheduled service. An attempt was made to find a buyer, but no other airline was interested in the superjumbos.

Now the Malaysia Airlines Airbus A380 is in danger of being scrapped. The 9M-MNC has already been flown out and has arrived in Tarbes. There the long-haul aircraft is threatened with disassembly. The further fate of the other fleet members is still open.
