Mostar Airport is currently negotiating with Croatia Airlines to add more routes. The Croatian carrier has recently been operating a subsidized hub connection to its Zagreb hub. Flights to Rome are to follow next year, provided an agreement is reached.

Airport director Marko Djuzel explicitly told Blejsak.info that they are currently working with Croatia Airlines to ensure that Zagreb flights will continue in the coming year. Furthermore, it is planned that in the future there will also be flights between Rome and Mostar. A third route is hoped for in 2025.

Talks are also being sought with the German low-cost airline Eurowings, because before the corona pandemic it had Stuttgart and Düsseldorf in its portfolio. They want these routes back and are negotiating with the Lufthansa subsidiary. At the moment it is still completely open whether she will be enthusiastic about Mostar again.
