Munich: Lufthansa uses A380 to Boston and New York

On June 1, 2023, Lufthansa will put the first Airbus A380 back into scheduled service after a three-year break. From Munich it will then go daily to Boston as LH424. LH410 (New York-JFK) will follow on July 4, 2023 from the Bavarian capital.

Due to the sharp rise in demand for flight tickets and the delayed delivery of ordered aircraft, Lufthansa decided in 2022 to reactivate the Airbus A380, which is particularly popular with passengers and crews. By the end of 2023, a total of four A380s will again be deployed from Munich. At Lufthansa, this type of aircraft has 509 seats.
