At the American airline United Airlines, almost 90 percent of the employees in the USA are vaccinated. Also, about 95 percent of US executives have received a full vaccination.
At the beginning of August, it was the first US airline to announce that it wanted to make vaccinations mandatory for its workforce. Managing Director Scott Kirby told CNN that it is more efficient for employers to require vaccinations than to create a huge infrastructure at airports to prove that passengers have been vaccinated.
