Narrowbodies: El Al wants to order from Airbus or Boeing this year

The Israeli airline El Al intends to place a larger order with Airbus and/or Boeing this year to renew its short- and medium-haul fleet.

You haven't decided yet which manufacturer you will order from. Company boss Dina Ben-Tal Ganancia confirmed discussions to Reuters News and added that a decision will be made in 2024. However, there are some factors, especially the war launched by Hamas, that could lead to delays, as demand is currently extremely weak, which has a negative impact on El Al's revenue.
