Hamburg Airport has once again advertised the so-called neighborhood prize. Clubs and initiatives can apply for this and those who convince the jury or convince the online vote will be supported with part of the 12.000 euros in prize money.

The application period for the fifth neighborhood award has begun. This year, too, all registered, recognized non-profit or charitable clubs, associations and institutions from the Hamburg metropolitan region are invited to apply. Projects in three winning categories can be submitted until September 29, 2023 (12:XNUMX p.m.): Society & Social Affairs, Culture & Sport, and Sustainability & Environment. The application takes just a few steps at https://hamburg-airport-bewegt.de/.

With the neighborhood prize, twelve voluntary projects from the region are funded with a total of 12.000 euros - 4.000 euros per category. The airport shareholder AviAlliance provides the prize money for the Culture & Sport category. An independent jury selects the podium places for each category. First places each receive 1.250 euros, second places receive 750 euros and third place winners can look forward to 500 euros.
