On the occasion of the Pilatus General Assembly, Hansueli Loosli was elected as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. The General Assembly also elected two further members: Martin P. Furrer and Mario Rossi.

Oscar J. Schwenk, Chairman of the Board of Directors for many years, decided not to stand for re-election as Chairman of the Board of Directors this year. The 76-year-old will hand over his work as Chairman of the Board of Directors to his successor after more than 15 years. The successor has already been determined: Hansueli Loosli, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Coop and Swisscom. He has already been trained and will take over his position at Pilatus with immediate effect.

“I am delighted to be able to sign Hansueli Loosli, an extremely experienced person, for the office of Chairman of the Board of Directors. The other two members will also be an ideal complement with their know-how. Our members of the Board of Directors and our investors will continue to drive the previous strategy as an independent Swiss aircraft manufacturer. Our common goal is to further strengthen Pilatus' market leadership and to secure the more than 2000 jobs at the Stans site in the long term, ”said Oscar J. Schwenk about the new appointment.
