The Latvian Air Baltic has announced that it will be launching additional flights on some particularly high-demand routes in the 2024 summer flight schedule. Flights between Riga and Liepaja will take place from July 11 to 22 and August 1 to 5, 2024 and will operate twice a week.

The new pop-up flights include a domestic service between Air Baltic's home base in Riga, Latvia, and the coastal city of Liepaja. In addition, the airline will offer pop-up flights from Tallinn, Estonia to Palma de Mallorca, Spain in late summer.

“Pop-up flights are a new and innovative concept for Air Baltic, aimed at offering seamless, limited-time travel options directly tied to consumer demand and special events. With these flights we can offer our customers more flexibility, which is particularly useful during peak travel times to destinations that are in high demand,” says company boss Martin Gauss.
