Qantas orders nine more Airbus A220-300s

Australian Oneworld member Qantas announced at the Paris Show that it had ordered nine more A220-300s from Airbus. There has been speculation for some time that the carrier could top up an existing order. 

The total volume for this machine type increases to 20 copies. These will be flown in as replacements for the Boeing 717s operated by a subsidiary. In the meantime one has with the flotation of the pattern developed by Mc Donnell Douglas.
