Schauinsland-Reisen becomes a sponsor of the Canoe World Championships

The German tour operator Schauinsland-Reisen will act as a co-sponsor during the Canoe World Championships taking place from August 23 to 27, 2023 in Duisburg. The company wants to underscore its commitment to sport.

At the Canoe World Championships, athletes can qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Among others, Sebastian Brendel will be at the start, who is also called Germany's "undisputed king of the paddle". The Canoe World Championships are also referred to as the "Wimbledon" of canoeing, with up to 4.000 spectators a day expected at the regatta course in Duisburg. In total, athletes from 92 nations paddle for a total of 42 world championship titles.
