The Seychelles are relaxing their entry requirements on December 1st. From next Thursday, travelers will no longer need proof of a corona vaccination or a negative test notification to be allowed to enter the island paradise in the Indian Ocean.

Accordingly, the previous requirement to either provide proof of a corona vaccination pass or to present a negative test, which must not be older than 72 hours (PCR test) or 24 hours (antigen rapid test) at departure, no longer applies. It applied to all travelers aged twelve and over. However, the Seychelles are still sticking to two corona entry regulations. It is still necessary to apply for an electronic entry permit before starting your journey. This is done either through a mobile app or the official website of the Seychelles government. In addition, those entering the country must provide proof of valid international health insurance that also covers infections with COVID-19. This is reported by Check24.
