Security personnel: Verdi terminates collective bargaining agreement

The Verdi union has terminated the collective wage agreement for aviation security personnel. The background is that five rounds of negotiations to increase the time supplements for night, Sunday, public holiday and Saturday work and better pay for overtime have not brought any agreement with the employers.

In a letter to the members, Verdi explains that the employers' association BDLS should not be willing to discuss the time surcharges. The union accuses of a blockade attitude and terminated the existing collective agreement as of December 31, 2022. The next negotiations will take place on December 15, 2022.
