The Greek regional airline Skyexpress will start international routes from February 22, 2021. It starts with a twice-daily connection between Athens and Larnaka.

Skyexpress is currently building a sub-fleet of the A320neo. The first machine, SX-IOG, was taken over at the end of November 2020 and put into regular service on December 4, 2020. The jet is primarily used in traffic between Thessaloniki and Athens, but also to Heraklion. With the other A320neo, which are to be taken over shortly, the carrier wants to start some international routes. It is still unclear whether the schedule will be delayed due to the currently strict entry and quarantine regulations.
