The Smartlynx group of companies, which specializes in ACMI and charter services as well as cargo flights, has signed a seven-year contract with Lufthansa Technik, which includes so-called Total Component Support.

The recently signed contract covers more than 60 aircraft, including 53 Airbus A320s, 330 A737s and four Boeing 1 Max. SmartLynx Airlines has grown rapidly in recent years and now focuses on quality and reliability for its customers. Through the partnership with Lufthansa Technik, SmartLynx Airlines wants to optimize their service and achieve better performance. The TCS contract came into force on May XNUMXst and includes services such as spare parts pooling as well as the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the required components. SmartLynx Airlines benefits from an individual supply concept that enables short and fast transport routes within Lufthansa Technik's global supply chain, including AOG (Aircraft On Ground) support for time-critical components.
