The airline Air Malta plans to operate 3.012 flights to 20 destinations this summer. Chief Commercial Officer regards the plans as a "strong signal to national and international tourism". The focus is on inbound.

Vienna, which has been pausing for some time, should also be returned to. In Germany, Air Malta concentrates on Frankfurt am Main and Munich. Geneva and Zurich are the two destinations in Switzerland. In Milan, the carrier now also flies to Linate. The state airline expects that there will be high demand this year. This year the government is subsidizing hotel stays - for direct bookings - with up to 200 euros per stay.
