The Polish charter airline Enter Air has received an aid loan of around 62 million euros from the government through Polski Fundusz Rozwoju. The money should flow to the carrier in February 2021.
In a press release, company boss Grzegorz Polaniecki explains that with the help of this loan, the coming months can be bridged and Enter Air can prepare for the summer season.
The airline was founded in 2009 and has its home base at Chhopin Airport in Warsaw. The fleet currently consists of 22 Boeing 737-800s and two Boeing 737 Max 8s, but these are not in use. Furthermore, the delivery of six more copies of the last-mentioned type is expected. In Switzerland, they hold 49 percent of Germania's successor, Chair Airlines.
