At the start of the Easter holidays in Baden-Württemberg on Thursday, April 06, 2023, Stuttgart Airport is expecting lively activity in the terminals. According to the preliminary status, around 2.000 flights are planned for the entire Easter holidays. The strongest day is Friday, April 14th with 209 scheduled flights. The most popular destinations are Istanbul, Antalya and Palma de Mallorca with a total of 415 scheduled flights during the holiday season.

Things will be much livelier in the terminals than at the beginning of the year. At peak times, more time is to be expected, for example at check-in or at the security checks. Travelers are recommended to be at the airport at least two hours before departure in order to start their vacation as relaxed as possible. If you can and want to, you should use the online check-in.

The state airport is easy to get to by public transport – S-Bahn, Stadtbahn U6 and public transport bus lines are available. If you are driven to the departure point by car, you should observe the current Kiss & Fly regulations in front of the terminal: you can stop there for 8 minutes free of charge, after which a fee is charged. Alternatively, there are tariffs for just 30 minutes in the direct vicinity of the terminal. The first hour is free of charge in car park P 0, and it is only a few minutes' walk to the terminal.
