Summer 2023: Tap is expanding its long-haul offering

In the summer of 2023, Tap Air Portugal intends to significantly expand its long-haul offering to North and South America. Between June and September 2022, 17 more connections are to be offered weekly than in 2022.

In the direction of the United States of America, the portfolio has up to 14 weekly connections to Boston, five to Chicago, ten to Miami, five to San Francisco and ten to Washington. The frequencies are increased on the routes mentioned. In the direction of Newark and New York JFK, the offer should remain unchanged.

There will be four rotations per week to Belém, seven to Belo Horizonte, six to Salvador, six to Brasilia and 20 to Sao Paulo. Fortaleza, Natal, Maceió, Porto Alegre, Recife and Rio de Janeiro will be served unchanged. In the future, there will be three flights a week between Lisbon and Caracas. Additional long-haul flights are to be launched from Porto in the near future.
