Summer 2024: Holidaycheck expects prices to remain constant

An evaluation by the broker Holidaycheck has shown that the average prices for holidays in the summer of 2024 should have only increased minimally. The reason for this is said to be that many tour operators offer early bird discounts.

A special “early bird” trend in travel planning can be observed especially for Fuerteventura, Mallorca and the Turkish Riviera. Mallorca in particular is in demand: according to the HolidayCheck analysis, an increase in bookings of almost 40 percent for the Germans' favorite island was already evident in mid-November. There are many reasons for the increase in early bookings: “Holidaymakers book not only because of the discounts, but also because the most popular hotels, room categories and flight connections usually leave quickly,” reports Christoph Heinzmann.
