Superjet and MS-21 will be called Yakovlev in the future

The Rostec subsidiary UAC is continuing to streamline its brand identity. In the future, the use of the name Irkut will be avoided. As a result, the MS-21 and the Superjet SSJ-100 will be marketed as Yakovlev in the future. 

The Russian group wants to take the formal steps that will lead to the renaming as early as August 2023. As a result, the Sukhoi Superjet SSJ-100 will henceforth be referred to as the Yakovlev Superjet SSJ-100 and the Irkut MS-21 will become the Yakovlev MS-21.
