Swiss and Air Baltic agree on code sharing

Air Baltic and Swiss have been working together on a wet lease agreement for some time. A codeshare agreement has now been signed, which is valid from January 31, 2024.

As part of the agreement, Lufthansa's Swiss subsidiary will place its LX code on the Riga-Zurich-Riga route served by Air Baltic. This will provide passengers with additional transfer options.

“Swiss is a strong and well-known premium airline. With this codeshare agreement, customers benefit from a more comfortable journey between Switzerland and Riga, Air Baltic’s home base in Latvia,” said Air Baltic boss Martin Gauss.
