Swiss announces fifth Flying Film Festival

The Flying Film Festival will take place for the fifth time on board Swiss long-haul aircraft from the beginning of December 2023 to the end of January 2024.

14 short films produced by various filmmakers from all over the world will be shown. The two best receive an award, and a podcast offers interesting insights into the festival. Launched in 2015 by Swiss and filmmakers Francesca Scalisi and Mark Olexa, the festival focuses on short documentaries and animated films. It complements Swiss' existing in-flight entertainment program. The aim is to promote young and talented directors from all over the world and to present their works to a wider audience. It is the only film festival that takes place exclusively in the air.
