In the eyes of Swiss COO Thomas Frick, the termination of the pilot's collective labor contract is a normal process in the social partnership. He also pointed out to the “Sunday newspaper” that there should be a lot of encouragement from the workforce for this step.

Frick also admits that there is also “a lot of criticism” that “is certainly partly justified”. Internal communication needs to be further improved, which probably went suboptimally. One particularly wanted to approach the pilots now, because they felt taken by surprise by the action taken by the Swiss management.

The Aeropers union criticizes the Termination of the Swiss collective labor agreement for pilots. Due to the notice period, this does not end until March 2022. The fronts between employers and employees are now even more hardened. The negotiations were already considered deadlocked, with both sides reproaching each other.
