The airline Swiss now serves food from the canton of Oberwalden as part of the “Taste of Swiss” catering concept. First and business class now serve meals prepared by a renowned chef from the Kempinski Palace Engelberg.

Guests in Premium Economy Class receive a three-course menu inspired by the Obwalden region. The dishes in the First and Business classes come from top chef Michéle Müller, who, as culinary director, is responsible for the entire gastronomy in the five-star superior hotel in Obwalden. Her creations for Swiss passengers reflect her international experience and are inspired by the menu at Kempinski Palace Engelberg. The hotel in the Central Swiss Alps belongs to the renowned Kempinski Group and has been awarded 14 GaultMillau points.

“We are very pleased that we can pamper our passengers with Michéle Müller’s menus. She works with surprising ingredients and interprets classics in her own unique way. Our passengers can look forward to the culinary highlights from the five-star kitchen at the Kempinski Palace Engelberg,” says Julia Hillenbrand, Head of Brand Experience at Swiss.
