Flight operations between Taiwan and China will be expanded in the future. After China's request to Taiwan to allow more flights, this appeal is implemented. The Republic of China, as the island state is officially called, will expand air traffic with the People's Republic.

In the post-pandemic period, only four destinations were integrated into Taiwan's flight operations. This included the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Nanjing. According to the media, ten other Chinese cities will be offered from now on, including the cities of Shenzhen and Guangzhou. This development is intended to ensure “healthy and orderly exchange”, as an authority in Taipei assures.
