The Romanian carrier Tarom temporarily suspended its flight operations between Bucharest and Belgrade during the current month.

The airline plans to increase flights between the two capitals again to four weekly connections from March 1, 2023, and to five from March 9, 2023. The airline uses its ATR72 turboprop aircraft on this route. The company has not published an explanation as to why the route will be put on “standby” in February. According to the online portal Ex-Yu-Aviation, the suspension would fall in the quietest month of the year for the aviation industry.
