Uber now also accepts Air Plus

The travel card provider Air Plus and the ride broker Uber will be working together in the future. In future, the travel center cards can be stored in the app and used to pay for trips. Air Plus takes care of the billing in the background.

For companies, this eliminates the need for time-consuming billing with physical receipts. Instead, they receive an accurate overview of the expenses, including integration into their accounting systems. Employees do not have to pay in advance and then have the costs reimbursed afterwards via a travel expense report. Instead, payment and billing take place using the AirPlus Company Account already stored in the system. Invoicing works just as easily and smoothly as the entire booking process. In addition, central payment can be used to ensure that the journeys comply with the travel guidelines. This gives companies full control over their costs, including detailed evaluation options.

“With the AirPlus Company Account as a central settlement account, companies have already been able to settle air and rail travel as well as rental cars and hotel bookings. Thanks to the integration into the Uber wallet, companies now also benefit from the bundled billing and evaluation when booking trips and other services from Uber. We are very happy to be able to offer Uber for Business to our customers. Business travelers can now easily request their trips via the Uber app, while payment is processed centrally and automatically via the AirPlus Company Account," says AirPlus boss Oliver Wagner.
