The unions Vereinigung Cockpit and Independent Flight Attendants Organization presented joint candidates for the first time in the most recent elections for employee delegates to the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG. These three seats on the control body were able to win.

The conference of delegates for the election of employee representatives recently elected Arne Karstens, CFO of VC and deputy spokesman for the group wage commission on the union list, as well as UFO board member and former Lufthansa wage commission spokeswoman Sara Grubisic, as well as Lufthansa captain and experienced personnel representative Tim Busse (VC) on the employee list Control body of Deutsche Lufthansa.

“Thank you for the tremendous support from the workforce that has helped us garner a large number of votes for the flight crew. Our declared goal is to work for all employees and for a successful and sustainable future for the Lufthansa Group,” says UFO Chairman Daniel Kassa Mbuambi. “We would also like to congratulate Jamila Jadran from the future group community, with whom we agreed a cooperation in advance, which is planned as a long-term cooperation beyond the supervisory board. With her in-depth knowledge of processes on the ground and in technology, she is an excellent addition to our team,” Kassa Mbuambi continues.

“We would also like to congratulate everyone else who was elected and look forward to good and close cooperation for the benefit of all Group companies and employees. The challenges can only be mastered as a strong community and our elected supervisory board members will consistently use their expertise for a strong aviation group in which a good product is only possible with appreciation for the work done," concludes Lars Frontini, VC board member.
