The UK government has announced that it will provide £53 million in subsidies for the development and mass production of SAF fuels.

The latest cash injection into the UK's SAF program will benefit nine projects funded in the latest round of the Department for Transport's Advanced Fuels Fund. The Speedbird project (joint venture between Nova Pangea Technologies, Lanza Jet and British Airways) has also received new funding totaling £9 million from the government fund.
