UK: SkyUp obtains Third Country Operator approval

The Ukrainian airline SkyUp has obtained the so-called third country license (Third Country Operator) in the United Kingdom. This is necessary in order to be allowed to head for the island state.

At the turn of the year, a transitional period for the approvals issued by EASA will expire. In concrete terms, this means that airlines must organize a TCO permit from the UK Civil Aviation Authority. That's exactly what SkyUp has done. The license was issued for an unlimited period, but it must be renewed every two years by submitting current documents.
