Storms in Germany lead to restrictions in air traffic

The storms in Germany are bringing numerous airports and airlines to their knees. Berlin Airport is canceling numerous flights to Frankfurt and Munich.

The storms in Germany with heavy snowfall and black ice have brought air traffic to a standstill. At Frankfurt Airport, 600 of 1.047 flights had to be canceled by mid-morning, as reported by the Aero.de portal. Air traffic is expected to remain restricted until Thursday due to the storm. Berlin Airport also had to cancel numerous flights to Frankfurt and Munich.
