Next Monday, March 27, 2023, the Verdi and EVG unions are planning a major strike in local public transport that will affect train and bus transport as well as aviation. The employee representatives wanted to give more details.

In addition to the airports, work is also to be stopped on the train and bus services. The strike is likely to cause significant problems in Germany. The trade unions in the public transport sector want to emphasize their demands for significantly higher wages and better working conditions. There have recently been regular strikes, including by security personnel and ground staff at German airports, which have had a significant impact on air traffic.
