Vienna: Around 1,2 million overnight stays in November

With 1,2 million overnight stays, this November reached 85 percent of what it was in the pre-Corona year 2019.

This November brought 1.171.000 overnight stays and thus a calculated increase of 114 percent compared to the same month 2021 - this corresponds to 85 percent of the level from November 2019. From January to November 2022 around 11,7 million overnight stays were counted. The net overnight turnover of Viennese accommodation providers was around 99 million euros in October, and between January and October they generated around 673 million euros. The average occupancy of the hotel beds in November was 50,3 percent, that of the rooms around 65 percent. Overall, around 66.000 hotel beds were offered in Vienna in November, around 5.800 more beds than in the same month of the previous year.
