Vienna: Tourism apprentices at Emirates

The airline Emirates welcomed young tourism professionals at Vienna-Schwechat Airport and presented, among other things, an airplane. The event was aimed specifically at apprentices.

In cooperation with the Vienna Vocational School for Trade & Travel, the company offers first and second year apprentices the opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience. The students not only get an insight into Vienna Airport and the Vienna Lounge, but also collect valuable information and experience for their training in an Emirates product training and coaching session.

"We ourselves are constantly looking for cabin and cockpit staff around the world and therefore understand the problems of the tourism industry well," says Elisabeth Zauner, Country Manager of Emirates Austria. "That's why it's particularly important to us to offer regular training courses and events for both newcomers and career changers, and to continuously support training at the vocational school for trade and travel."
