Service provider Wisag has dismissed around 225 of its 850 employees at Frankurt Airport - the business prospects are too bad due to Corona. The Verdi union would now like to take legal action against this measure.

A whole wave of lawsuits should now roll towards the employer. He expects that almost all those affected will sue against the dismissals of the service provider Wisag, said the Verdi department head traffic, Mathias Venema, on Thursday opposite the specialist portal Aero. Wisag employees had symbolically submitted their complaints to the Frankfurt labor court. Given the possibility of short-time working, these terminations could have been avoided. It is completely incomprehensible that the company does not use the time to look for socially acceptable solutions, said Venema. A social collective agreement was also not concluded.
