With a stop in Vienna: Ethiopian sets course for Copenhagen

Star Alliance member Ethiopian Airlines will return to Copenhagen after a long break at the start of the 2023 summer flight schedule. This also has an impact on the Vienna route, because in future you will no longer fly to Brussels after stopping in Austria.

Instead, the Ethiopian carrier will serve Addis Abbeba-Vienna-Copenhagen five times a week from March 28, 2023. Formally, it is a so-called direct flight, because – in contrast to non-stop flights – these may have any number of stopovers, provided the flight number does not change.

As a rule, Ethiopian Airlines wants to serve this route with Boeing 787 aircraft. The previous onward flights to the Belgian capital Brussels will no longer be used in the future, as Copenhagen will be headed for instead.
