The low-cost airline Wizz Air again recorded a drop in passengers in February 2021. 382.928 passengers were carried. In a direct comparison with January 2021, there were around 33 percent fewer passengers on board.

In the previous year, the calendar months January and February were not affected by the corona pandemic. Wizz Air carried over three million passengers at a time. If you compare the value from February 2021 with the same month last year, the decrease is around 87 percent.

The lowcoster's traffic figures have been around for several months declining again. This is also likely to be a reason for the Resumption of numerous routes from Vienna was moved far back. The comeback in Salzburg will also be later and also reduced in size fail.
