Zagreb Airport handled more than three million passengers in 2022

Last year Zagreb Airport recorded its second strongest year in history with a total of 3.124.605 ​​passengers handled.

The airport registered more than twice as many passengers in 2022 than a year earlier. Expressed in concrete figures, the current annual volume is 122,5 percent above that of the previous year. The Croatian airport was thus able to exceed its expectations, because the management originally expected around three million passengers. The numbers from 2019 have not yet been reached. Compared to the year before the pandemic, the bottom line is still a decline of 9,1 percent. The number of flight movements during the year was 42.310. This is reported by the online portal Ex-Yu-Aviation.
