Zurich-Kloten Airport had around 2021 passengers in May 450.500. In direct comparison with the same month last year, this is a ten-fold increase, but it is 83,4 percent below the value of May 2019.

The number of local passengers was 2021 in May 362.975. The proportion of transfer passengers was 18,7 percent, which corresponds to 83.302 passengers. 8.043 take-offs or landings were carried out. This was 162,5 percent above the same month last year, but 67,1 percent below May 2019.

Zurich puts the average utilization of the machines at 53,8 percent. On average there were 92,6 passengers on board. A total of 33.644 tons of freight were handled at Zurich Airport in May. This corresponds to an increase of 78 percent compared to the same month last year. Compared to May 2019, 11,6 percent less freight was handled.
