In the future, Lufthansa passengers on long-haul flights in Economy and Premium Economy Class will have the option of buying snacks and spirits in addition to main meals and drinks, which will continue to be free of charge.

The AUA parent company is thus increasing the offer on board, especially between the main meals, travelers would have wished for little things in between. From December 1, the new service will initially be introduced on 37 long-haul routes to North America, South America, Asia and South Africa. In the spring of 2022, the offer is to be extended to all intercontinental flights. The product range, which is offered under the name Onboard Delights, is based on the short-haul offer, which Lufthansa only introduced at the end of May 2021.
