Croatia is once again very popular as a holiday destination this year. The Adriatic beaches are particularly popular with Austrians, because they can be reached quickly both by car and by plane. However, there are a few points to consider when entering the country.
Since July 1, 2021, it has only been possible to avoid quarantine if proof of 3G is provided. Croatia accepts test results as well as evidence of vaccinations and recoveries. Compared to other countries, the Mediterranean country is very relaxed and makes it easy for holidaymakers to meet the requirements.
The following video, recorded in Ċirkewwa (Malta), explains in detail the regulations in force at the time of recording. At the same time, it should be pointed out that the entry regulations there must also be observed when returning to your home country.
Croatia requirements at a glance:
Test results:
- Antigen: maximum 48 hours old
- PCR: maximum 72 hours old
