In the previous year, golf carrier Emirates cut numerous jobs. Now they want to take on up to 3.000 new flight attendants. They are also looking for 500 ground workers for the Dubai hub.
Due to the corona pandemic, Emirates parted from many employees in the previous year. Some of these were sent on unpaid leave, some were given notice and others left the company at their own request and looked elsewhere. Now the golf carrier needs staff again, both on the ground and in the cabin. The available positions are based in Dubai.
Emirates has gradually restored operations as global travel restrictions have been eased. The airline currently flies to more than 120 destinations, which is 90 percent of the route network that existed before the pandemic, and plans to restore 70 percent of its capacity by the end of the year. This also includes the re-commissioning of further aircraft of the type Airbus A380, the flagship of the airline. Vienna is currently served daily with the A380, from November Emirates will increase to nine weekly direct connections.
