Anyone interested in six Airbus A320s without engines could get hold of Pakistan International Airlines. The carrier has advertised six unspecified medium-haul jets of this type for sale.
Interested parties can submit their bids to PIA until October 26, 2021. If the bid is accepted, the auctioned aircraft must then be picked up within two weeks. The probability that the planes that are not airworthy according to the tender will take off again is low.
Pakistan International Airlines is more likely to be interested in the Airbus A320 no longer needed being scrapped. Since the “scrap” has a not inconsiderable resale value, it is common that it is sold for such purposes.
