The Pakistani Airblue is pleased about a new addition to the fleet: With the AP-BOE, the first Airbus A321neo was taken over in Hamburg on Friday.
The medium-haul jet was transferred to Karachi as the PA9001 in seven hours and 19 minutes. The first commercial flight is scheduled to take place in the next few weeks. A specific date for this has not yet been set. Airblue celebrates the new addition, because it is the first Airbus A321neo in the fleet.
Airblue was founded in 2013 and is based in the Islamabad Stock Exchange Towers in Islamabad. The home base is Karachi Airport. The main destinations that are approached are in the vicinity. The connections to the United Kingdom are suspended indefinitely due to the corona pandemic, among other things.
The carrier's fleet consists of four Airbus A320s, five A321s and now one A321neo. In the past, widebodies such as the A330 and A340 were also in operation. However, these were phased out a few years ago.
