Lufthansa reactivated the non-stop connection from Munich to Delhi on Tuesday after a break of more than a year. As a rule, this route is served by Airbus A350 aircraft. Three rounds per week are currently planned.
Departures from Bavaria's international air traffic hub take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Delhi was the first destination served by Lufthansa with the Airbus A350 from Munich.
The picture shows the first take-off on this route, which Lufthansa carried out with an Airbus A350-900. The machine, christened “Nürnberg”, took off from Munich on February 10, 2017. In the coming summer timetable period, Lufthansa will use a total of 21 long-haul aircraft of this type based at the Munich location.
