The Maltese airline Airhub Airlines has added an Airbus A330-200 to its fleet. This is the machine with serial number 1161, entered on the local registry as 9H-PAX.
"The successful addition of this aircraft to our fleet reflects Airhub Airline's continued focus on delivering premium widebody capacity to our customers around the world," said Haris Coloman, CEO of Airhub Airlines. The manager added that the phase-in of the A330-200 also marks the airline's transition from the A340 to a more sustainable fleet composition. The transition to an all-A330 widebody fleet will improve Airhub Airlines' fuel efficiency and operational reliability across the route network compared to the current A340 fleet.
The 9H-PAX is strategically positioned to expand Airhub Airlines' fleet capacities. The A330-200 will begin commercial operations during the winter season and will benefit from increasing passenger demand – for example with a view to the upcoming soccer World Cup in Qatar.
